Steve Webb – Guitars and Vocals
zaditor in canada I started playing when I was about 13 or 14. My sister was married to Paul Smith who was a fantastic guitar and bass player. He used to sit out on the porch and jam out songs on an amazing sounding Ibanez Acoustic. I was pretty impressed by this so he started me off with some basics. He had formed a Hawkes Bay covers band and a couple of years late (once I was old enough) he dragged me along to a Wedding that his band was playing at. Everyone was raging out, I was hooked.
People who have helped
zyban uk pharmacy Graeme Moses was the guitarist in local legendary covers band “The Boyz” yep going back a bit now. I used to hang out with him as much as possible as they were the only decent live band playing at the time. I used to scrounge guitar lessons off Graeme and he helped me make some sense of the fret board.
pred forte eye drops cost I remember being up at the old cozy club and seeing Dave Boston for the first time and how he could entertain with just a guitar and accompanying vocalist – or is that the other way round. Anyway I was super impressed and soon embarked upon some lessons with him. Dave also helped me hook up with some others that gave birth to my first live band. Legend – Thanks Dave!
First Live Band
retin a uk It was at high school where Jason Alexander (Naked Gun – Awesome Covers Band) and Hamish Graham started jamming together. I was playing bass as their was no one else, Jason on guitar and Hamish on vocals (and some guitar and keys). We needed a drummer and I am not quite sure how we got on to Michael Patterson, I think it was through some guy who was in to radio – anyway we didn’t even have a name but entered in to the battle of bands and came second. So cool! I think they called us Webb as we couldn’t come up with anything. We played as a live band in a few different place such as The Cabana but as a young covers band it was short lived when Hamish went off to Uni.
zestril price in philippines I had a big gap and got back in to music probably in my late 20’s. I loved playing live music so ended up in a few bands such as Spider Blue and Soda Speak, these managed to get off the ground and then I was involved in a bunch that didn’t.
wellbutrin uk buy I enjoyed teaching guitar for a while which was a life saver as at times I was not very financial.
How Streightup got started
nizoral shampoo price in india I bumped in to Warwick Hill one down at a Hockey match and both said what are you up too. We had meet earlier when Warwick filled in for Spider Blue Band. We quickly started jamming and got another friend in on drums and found we knew 30 – 40 songs between us. Which was enough to get us going as a covers band. Davina Roper joined us on lead vocals and then Sam Webb my son joined as the drummer who replaced the awesome Damian Rameka.
What Streightup Looks like now
levaquin price The band over the last 7 years has changed personalities and the current line up is Steve Webb Vocals and Guitars, Jason Waiwatai Vocals and Guitars, Bill Dodunski Backing Vocals and Bass and Cameron Budge on Drums.
zestoretic tablets price The band has been around for a while and we all enjoy getting out and playing, except for setup which is something I don’t have a lot of patience for. We are always looking to entertain rather than just play the music. We are always improving as a live band.
